The installation methods of dust collector filter cartridges mainly include the following:

Screw-type installation: This is a common installation method in the market, suitable for vertical, side and oblique placement of filter cartridges. The specific steps include: welding the dust collector panel to the bracket and extending it to the height of the filter cartridge, and then welding the threaded rod at the joint of the bracket. During installation, the inside of the filter cartridge passes through the threaded rod and the bracket, and the top sealing ring contacts the dust collector mounting plate. Finally, the nut is rotated to tighten the thread to fix the filter cartridge and the sealing ring fully contacts the mounting plate. The advantages of this method are good sealing effect and wide range of use. ‌

Flange installation: Unlike screw-type installation, flange installation requires opening the top end cover of the dust collector, and the filter cartridge is installed from top to bottom. The common form is that screws are evenly welded around the holes of the dust collector mounting plate, and the upper end cover of the filter cartridge adopts a flange form (that is, the diameter of the upper end cover is larger than the diameter of the filter cartridge itself), and 3-4 round holes are evenly distributed around the flange. During installation, the filter cartridge is installed from top to bottom, and the filter material part enters the dust collector. Then, the small holes evenly distributed on the flange of the dust filter cartridge pass through the threaded rod pre-welded on the upper part of the dust collector mounting plate, and finally the nut is tightened to install. The advantage of this method is that it is easy to install, but the position of the screw rod and the position of the flange hole must correspond.

‌Quick-release installation‌: This is one of the more common installation forms on the market. The upper end cover of the filter cartridge adopts a six-claw plastic end cover, and the mounting cap contains a slot for inserting the six claws. First, fix the dust filter cartridge mounting cap on the mounting plate, and then insert the six claws of the dust filter cartridge into the six slots of the mounting cap and rotate it so that the sealing ring is fully in contact with the top of the mounting cap. This installation method is simple and convenient. When replacing the filter cartridge, you only need to rotate it in the opposite direction to remove the filter cartridge. The advantage of this method is that the installation form is simple and the filter cartridge is easy to replace.
